GTA 5 easter eggs you can still find

GTA 6 is days away, but GTA 5 still hides some of the best easter eggs in the series. Here are six you can go and find tonight.

1. The ghost on Mount Gordo

When: between 11 p.m. and midnight in-game. Where: Mount Gordo, in the north-east of the map.

A pale woman, Jolene Cranley-Evans, stands on the hillside. Get close and she vanishes. Look around and you’ll find the name “Jock” written in blood nearby. A small, dark side story told only through the scene.

2. Bigfoot

Spoiler: after 100% completion, a final mission called “The Last One” has Franklin tracking Bigfoot through the forest.

3. Peyote plants

Hidden peyote plants are scattered around the map (in the newer console and PC versions). Eat one and you hallucinate into an animal: a chicken, a dog, even a shark. Each plant is a different animal.

4. Spaceship parts

Franklin meets Omega, a hippie obsessed with aliens, in the strangers & freaks mission “Far Out”. Collect all 50 spaceship parts for him and you’re rewarded with the Space Docker, a buggy with a very alien look.

5. The Epsilon Program

As Michael, you can join a parody cult through the Epsilon website: donate money, wear the robes and walk miles through the desert for “enlightenment”. It’s long and ridiculous, and the ending makes it worth it.

6. The UFO over Mount Chiliad

Spoiler: after 100% completion, go to the top of Mount Chiliad at 3 a.m. during a thunderstorm to see a UFO. It’s part of the series’ most famous puzzle: the Mount Chiliad mystery.
